Delete Your Lingora Account

You can permanently delete your Lingora cloud account and all data synced to it at any time, directly from within the app — no need to contact support.

How to delete your account

Lingora app → Settings → Sync → Danger zone → "Delete account & sync data"

Open the Lingora app and go to Settings → Sync.
Scroll to the Danger zone section and tap "Delete account & sync data."
Confirm the action when prompted — Lingora will ask you to confirm once more since this cannot be undone.
Your account and all associated cloud data are deleted immediately.

What happens when you delete your account

Permanently deleted

Every deck, card, and review-history record you've ever synced to Lingora's cloud storage (Firestore) — a hard, immediate delete
Lingora's authorization to your Google account is revoked
You're signed out of Cloud Sync
Local sync settings on this device (last-synced time, sync preferences)

Not deleted

Your decks, cards, and review progress stored locally on your device — untouched and fully usable offline

Retention period: none. We do not keep backups of your account data beyond what's technically necessary to complete the deletion request itself — there is no additional grace period or archival copy retained after deletion.

If you'd also like to remove Lingora's local data from this device, uninstall the app or clear its data from your device's app settings — this is separate from the cloud account deletion above.

Can't access the app?

If you no longer have access to the app but still want your synced account data deleted, email us and we'll process the request manually:
